line + square

I see the line as an extension of the point.
I am fascinated by what a line can do. I often think of music in this context—at times, a piano piece, for example, inspires me to create a series of line drawings. I call them “Line Sound.”
For me, music and line are deeply intertwined.

The line reminds me of “emotio” (emotion).
The squares remind me of “ratio” (reason).

Bringing both together brings me joy and a sense of fulfillment.
Just as lines and sound are interwoven in music, I seek connections in my works. 
My lines strive to link, to continue, to embrace. I am interested in the order and the play of things.
